Diamond grinding discs

The grinding discs of GRAEF knife sharpeners are diamond-coated. This ensures that knife blades are sharpened gently, quickly and easily. The low grinding speed prevents the blade from overheating during sharpening.

Sharpening with this model creates a strong, ultra-sharp and long-lasting multi-phase edge with a 15° grinding angle. The blade is ground to a spherically finish.

With a 20° grinding angle, your knife gains a strong, ultra-sharp and long-lasting multi-phase edge. The blade is ground convex. This sharpener is suitable for all household, leisure and commercial knives.

GRAEF knife sharpener CC150 - new sharpening for your European (20°) and Asian (15°) knives

Instead of steel, GRAEF knife sharpeners use diamond dust on their grinding discs. This minimises the amount of material removed from the knife and the grinding wheels can run much more slowly. This in turn means that there is less friction on the knife blade, preventing it from annealing.

With the GRAEF CC150 diamond knife sharpener, you can restore the original sharpness of your knives in no time at all. The CC150 sharpens both conventional steel and Asian blades. Thanks to the elastomer angle guide, you can always achieve a perfect grind for long-lasting sharpness on kitchen, Santoku, bread, hunting, fillet, pocket and household knives.

The knife blade is given the so-called "curved grind", which is known for its unrivalled sharpness and durability. This grind is also more stable and durable than a conventional "V" grind.

Even knives with severe damage to the blade can be rebuilt with the CC150. The diamond-coated grinding discs and 2-phase sharpening ensure minimal material removal from the knife.

Knives are sharpened with the CC150 in two phases: for conventional, smooth steel knives, use stage 2 (20° grinding angle) for pre-sharpening and the polishing and honing disc in stage 3.

For Asian knives, first use stage 1 (15° grinding angle) and then stage 3. Even serrated bread knives can be resharpened using the polishing and honing disc in level 3.

    Die Alltagsmesser werden im Handumdrehen und kinderleicht scharf. Funktioniert toll. Mein Gemüsemesser für Tomaten wird auf dem 8000er Wasserstein etwas schärfer, aber für alles andere muss man den Aufwand mit Handschleifen nicht machen,
